IAF Agniveer Vayu Recruitment 2026 Educational Qualification

Candidates willing to apply for Agniveervayu (Sports) posts should have educational qualification as given below-

Science Subjects

• Candidates should have passed Intermediate/ 10+2/ Equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and English from an Education BoardrecognisedbyCentral, State and UT with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and50%marksinEnglish. OR
• Passed Three years Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/Electronics/ Automobile/ Computer Science/ Instrumentation Technology/ InformationTechnology) from Central, State and UT recognised Polytechnic institutewith50%marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in diploma course (or inIntermediate/Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Diploma Course). OR
• Passed Two years Vocational course with non-vocational subjectviz.Physics and Mathematics from Education Board recognised by Central, StateandUTwith minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English/vocational course (or in Intermediate / Matriculation, if English is not a subject in vocational course).

Other than Science Subjects.

• Candidates should have passed Intermediate/ 10+2/ Equivalent Examination in any stream/ subjectsfromEducation Boards recognised by Central, State and UT with minimum50%marksinaggregate and 50% marks in English. OR
• Passed two years vocational course from Education Boards recognisedbyCentral,State and UT with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50%marksinEnglishinvocational course (or in Intermediate/ Matriculation if English is not asubjectinVocational Course).
