DoT Recruitment 2026 – Eligibility Criteria
- Consultant (Group B – AD): Retired Central Government/PSU/Research officials with a minimum substantive grade of Level 8 of 7th CPC or equivalent IDA scale or analogous post or above. BSNL/MTNL VRS 2019 optees are eligible.
- Consultant (Group B – JTO): Retired Central Government/PSU/Research officials with a minimum substantive grade of Level 7 of 7th CPC or equivalent IDA scale or analogous post or above. BSNL/MTNL VRS 2019 optees are eligible.
- Consultant (Group B – Junior Engg. (Telecom)): Retired Central Government/PSU/Research officials with a minimum substantive grade of Level 6 of 7th CPC or equivalent IDA scale or analogous post or above. BSNL/MTNL VRS 2019 optees are eligible.
- Adequate computer knowledge (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of Hindi is desirable.
- Experience in telecom / service compliance / security / rural connectivity / administrative functions is desirable.
