SSC (KKR) Young Professional (Legal Consultant) Eligibility Criteria 2026
- Educational Qualification (Essential): Graduate Degree in Law from NLSIU or any equivalent Law School/College of the country with minimum 60% marks. Candidate must possess good drafting and communication skills in English.
- Desirable Experience: One year experience in drafting of legal documents, scrutiny, recruitment matters (notice of examination, conduct of examination, evaluation of answer books, results, medical examination cases), drafting of contract agreements, handling CAT matters, etc.
- Age Limit: Not exceeding 32 years as on the closing date.
SSC (KKR) Young Professional (Legal Consultant) Salary
- Remuneration: Rs. 60,000/- per month (consolidated). On extension for another year (based on satisfactory performance), remuneration may be increased up to 5% (maximum 1.25 times of initial remuneration).
- Period of Engagement: Initial term of one year, extendable on case-to-case basis.
- General Conditions: Full-time engagement, no other assignment permitted, secrecy as per Official Secrets Act, 1923, non-disclosure agreement, no additional allowances (except specified TA/DA for tours), leave as per rules, police verification mandatory, etc.

General Information/Instructions
- The engagement of Young Professional (Legal Consultant) would be on full time basis and he/she would not be permitted to take up any other assignment during the period of contract with SSC (KKR).
- The Young Professional (Legal Consultant) on having accepted the offer shall enter into contract with SSC (KKR). The norms for secrecy will be as per the Official Secrets Act, 1923.
- The Young Professional (Legal Consultant) shall not indulge in or disclose to any person any details of office, operational process, technical know-how, administrative / organizational matters which are of confidential /secret nature.
- The Young Professional (Legal Consultant) shall not be entitled to any allowance such as conveyance allowance, dearness allowance, residential telephone, transport facility, residential accommodation, CGHS/medical reimbursement etc. other than those specifically mentioned herein.
- The appointment of Young Professional (Legal Consultant) shall be of a temporary nature and SSC (KKR) can cancel the appointment at any time without providing any reason for it.
- The Young Professional (Legal Consultant) shall be expected to follow all the rules and regulations of the Government of India which are in force.
- TA/DA as per rules for domestic tours (Air Economy / Rail AC Two Tier + Hotel up to Rs. 2250/- per day, taxi up to Rs. 338/- per day, food up to Rs. 900/- per day).
- Leave: 1.5 days per completed month with no accumulation beyond a calendar year on pro-rata basis.
- Income Tax / any other tax will be deducted at source.
- Police verification is mandatory; contract remains provisional till clearance.
