UCIL Recruitment 2026 – Age Relaxation

Internal (Departmental) candidates of UCIL have no age limit for any post. Length of experience may also be relaxed for exceptional and deserving internal candidates.

UCIL Recruitment 2026 – Application Fee

  • General (UR) / EWS / OBC (NCL): Rs. 500/- 
  • SC / ST / PwBD / Female / Internal UCIL Candidates: NIL 

Fee must be paid online only through the UCIL Recruitment Portal at the time of application. A copy of the fee acknowledgement/receipt must be uploaded. Fee once paid is non-refundable. Internal UCIL candidates are exempted from payment of application fees.

UCIL Recruitment 2026 – Pay & Allowances

In addition to applicable Basic Pay, selected candidates shall be entitled to Dearness Allowance, Perks & Allowances, subsidised accommodation, medical facility, children education facility, and other benefits as per company policy. Travel expenses will be reimbursed for written test/personal interview as per UCIL TA Rules (Air/AC 1st/AC 2nd/Sleeper class depending on grade).

UCIL Recruitment 2026 – Selection Process

The selection process may include a Written Test / Trade Test / Psychometric Test / Group Exercise / Personal Interview or combinations thereof, depending on the response received for each post. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for further stages of the selection process.

  • Verification of original certificates (age, qualification, experience, category, PwBD) will be done at the time of Written Test/Group Discussion/Personal Interview.
  • UCIL reserves the right to cancel/restrict/enlarge/modify the recruitment and selection process without assigning any reason.
  • Candidates applying for multiple posts must submit separate applications and pay separate fees for each post.
  • Management reserves the right to offer a lower position based on interview performance.

Applications must be submitted online only through the UCIL Job Portal. No other mode of application will be accepted.

2. Register and fill the online form: Visit https://ucil.gov.in/jobportal/public/index.php and complete the online application form. Fill in all personal, educational, and work experience details accurately. Ensure category, post applied for, and PwBD status are correct — these cannot be changed after submission.

3. Pay the application fee: Candidates belonging to General/UR/EWS/OBC-NCL categories must pay Rs. 500/- online. SC/ST/PwBD/Female/Internal UCIL candidates are exempted. Upload the fee acknowledgement copy.

4. Upload required documents: Upload self-attested copies of — Class 10th certificate, Category certificate (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS), PwBD certificate (if applicable), mark sheets and degree certificates for educational qualifications, work experience certificates (offer letter, appointment letter, latest pay slip, pay continuity documents), salary certificate/Form-16 (for private sector candidates), company annual report for turnover proof, and NOC from present employer (Govt./PSU/CPSE candidates applying without proper channel).

5. Final submission: Review all entries carefully before final submission. After submission, no changes to mailing address, email ID, category, or post will be entertained. Keep registered mobile number and email active throughout the recruitment process.

6. Internal UCIL candidates: Must apply online/offline and forward the hard copy of the application through proper channel. Failure to do so may result in rejection of candidature.
