SSC CPO Syllabus 2026

SSC CPO Syllabus 2026 has been updated by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) for the recruitment of Sub-Inspector (SI) in Delhi Police, Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), and Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) in CISF. The detailed syllabus and exam pattern remain largely aligned with previous years, with emphasis on conceptual clarity and speed.

The SSC CPO 2026 selection process consists of Paper 1, Physical Standard Test (PST) / Physical Endurance Test (PET), Paper 2, and Detailed Medical Examination (DME). Paper 1 and Paper 2 are objective computer-based tests.

1. General Intelligence & Reasoning

• Analogies, similarities & differences, space visualization, spatial orientation

• Arithmetical reasoning, figural classification, arithmetic number series

2. General Knowledge & General Awareness

• Current events (national & international)

3. Quantitative Aptitude

• Whole numbers, decimals, fractions, relationships between numbers

• Graphs of linear equations, geometry (triangle, circle, etc.)

• One-word substitution, sentence improvement

Physical Standard Test (PST) 2026

Physical Efficiency Test (PET) 2026

For Male Candidates:

• Race: 1.6 km in 6.5 minutes

• Long Jump: 3.65 metres in 3 chances

• High Jump: 1.2 metres in 3 chances

For Female Candidates:

• Race: 800 metres in 4 minutes

• Long Jump: 2.7 metres in 3 chances

• High Jump: 0.9 metres in 3 chances

Detailed Medical Examination (DME) 2026

• Candidates must meet the medical standards prescribed by SSC/CAPFs:

• Eyesight: 6/6 and 6/9 (better & worse eye) without glasses

• No flat foot, knock knee, squint eyes, colour blindness

• Good mental & physical health

• No bodily defect or disease
