Residential Qualification

• Rural Grih Rakshak: Candidate must be a permanent resident of the concerned block of Deoghar district from where he/she is applying.
• Urban Grih Rakshak: Candidate must be a general resident of the urban area of Deoghar district.

Age Limit (as on 01.01.2026): 19 to 40 years.

Educational Qualification

• Rural Grih Rakshak: Minimum 7th Pass.
• Urban Grih Rakshak: Minimum Matric (10th) Pass.

Physical Standards (same for both Rural & Urban)

Technical Proficiency (only for Urban Technical Grih Rakshak candidates): Candidate must possess skill in any technical field and should have worked/self-employed with technical knowledge in any office. Technical fields include: Doctor, Engineer, Advocate, Teacher, Nurse, Computer Operator, Driver (H.M.V./L.M.V.), Cook, Carpenter, Cobbler, Washerman, Barber, Electrician, Gardener, Plumber, etc.
