Selection Process

Selection will be made through Scrutiny of Applications followed by Written Test / Skill Test / Interview (as applicable) and Document Verification.

• Applications will be scrutinized for eligibility.
• Shortlisted candidates will be called for Written Examination / Skill Test / Interview.
• For Group-C posts: Mandatory Punjabi Language Qualifying Test (50% minimum marks required) conducted by MBSPSU, followed by Written & Skill Test.
• For Teaching Posts: Shortlisting based on UGC Regulations 2018 (academic record, Ph.D., publications, research score, teaching/research experience).
• Final selection is based on merit, performance in test/interview, and verification of original documents.
• Selected candidates will be appointed subject to verification of antecedents and medical fitness.
• University reserves the right to shortlist or cancel any candidature at any stage.

How to Apply

• Visit www.mbspsu.ac.in — no other mode (post, email, fax, CV deposit) accepted
• Fill Registration Form on portal, then complete the Application Form linked to fee payment gateway
• Fill all personal & educational details accurately including active email and mobile number
• Upload passport photo (≤200 KB, JPEG, white background, ≤3 months old) and signature (≤200 KB, JPEG)
• Pay application fee online (₹2,000 general / ₹1,500 reserved) — separate fee per post per campus
• Submit form and take 4 (four) printouts
• Self-attest copies of all certificates & testimonials; affix passport photo on each set
• Send 4 sets by courier / registered post / hand to the Registrar, MBSPSU, Patiala-147001 before 28.04.2026
• Fill and sign both Declaration forms included in notification (pages 27 & 29)
• Retain printed copies of the application for future reference

General Instructions

• Candidates must read all instructions carefully before filling the online application.
• Mere submission of application does not guarantee selection.
• Age, qualifications, and experience are reckoned as on the last date of online application.
• Reservation benefits are applicable only to Punjab Domicile candidates (as per Punjab Govt. rules).
• In-service candidates must apply through proper channel with NOC from employer.
• Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending tests/interviews.
• The University reserves the right to increase/decrease/cancel any post or the entire recruitment process without assigning any reason.
