Eligibility Criteria 

• Graduation in any stream. 1 year data entry (Eng + Punjabi) in Govt/PSU
• Graduation + 1-year Diploma in Computers
• BCA/B.Sc. (CS/IT) or Graduation + 1-year Diploma in Computers
• Graduation + 1-year Diploma in Computers (preference to PG + NIELIT DLC)
• Graduation in any discipline
• Graduation (min. 60% marks) + MS Office knowledge
• Graduation
• Graduate (min. 60% marks) + MS Office/Libre Office
• BCA/B.Sc.(CS/IT)/B.E./B.Tech or Graduation + 1-year Diploma in Computer Application (60%+)
• BCA/B.Sc.(CS) or Graduation + 120-hour computer course
• B.E/B.Tech/M.Sc (IT/CS)/MCA/NIELIT ‘B’ Level

Application Fee

• SC/ST/PwD/Female – ₹350/–
• All others – ₹700/-
• Payable by Bank Draft/Pay Order in favour of “NIELIT Chandigarh” payable at Rupnagar OR Debit/Credit Card swipe at POS machine on the spot.

How to Apply 

1. Download Application Form from nielit.gov.in/chandigarh/recruitments.
2. Fill the form completely.
3. Attach self-attested copies of all required documents (10th, Degree, Experience, Category, Aadhaar, PAN, Bank Passbook, etc.).
4. Affix recent passport-size coloured photograph.
5. Reach venue on 23 April 2026 between 9:30 am – 12:30 pm with original documents + fee.
6. Only eligible candidates will be allowed for Interview / Typing Test (2:00 pm onwards).

Note: Applications sent by post/courier will not be accepted.

Selection Process

• Jr. Resource Person (Data Entry) → Computer-based Typing Test (English, 10 minutes, min. 25 correct wpm).
• All other posts → Walk-in Interview (Subject knowledge 15 marks + Interpersonal skills 15 marks).
• In case of tie in marks, elder candidate gets higher rank.

• Jr. Resource Person (Computer Operator): 16,500/-
• Jr. Resource Person-I (Data Processing): 22,000/-
• Jr. Resource Person-I (Project Assistant): 20,000/-
